  12. This is the new release of PlayAY package. It fully replaces all previous
  13. PlayAY releases.
  14.  
  15. There is only one, but pretty important change in the Emul AYPlayer (it
  16. concerns only Amstrad CPC tunes, though). I have been told that the CPC
  17. tunes sound high-pitched by one octave. I changed the output routine to
  18. adjust this automatically if CPC tune is played (it is easily recognized
  19. since CPC uses different I/O scheme than ZX).

  21. Since I never had (or even seen) a CPC, I didn't thought about the
  22. possibility that the AY chip in CPC could use different clock frequency
  23. than the one in ZX... Sorry for being so childish...

  25. AY Tunes' Rippers

  28. In the PlayAY15 docs I have forgotten to mention myself as AY tunes ripper.

  30. I thought it was obvious unless someone told me he saw my PlayAY
  31. and asked me if I know how to rip AY tunes...
  32.  
  33. So, I have ripped many of the tunes in the aytunes package and I think
  34. that I know how to do that :)
